Purrpurr you need to get someone in there to help you, just to tick it up a few notches on the naughty scale.

Being Bad in the Kingdom Hall
by Funchback inwhat things did (do) you or someone you know do in the kingdom hall that was a no-no?.
i remember in the 80s when, during the meeting, three friends and i were breakdancing in the foyer.
3 out of 4 us are happily out of that organization.. as i was trudging through my fade and attending meetings, i sometimes dwelled on how much time and money i wasted during my years as a jw.

No! No! No! This can't be true? brexit? No!
by purrpurr init seems britain has voted to leave the eu in a move of total madness!
the markets are already in free fall and the moronic bigots who campaigned for this are celebrating the demise of our country .. i can't see how a 49-51% split can be democratic?
there is still the postal vote to come in, maybe there's hope in that?

ph.d, and bruce h.price,m.d.. it was published online october 01, 2012, reference link: http://dx.doi.org/10.1176/appi.neuropsych.11090214.

Yes. Paul went to the 3rd heaven (allegedly). Well these days we'd call that psychosis.

There was always going to be these shifts in markets, they have priced it in for the past few weeks and now they are cashing in.
Some now depends on how the government handles it immediately and going forward.

I always found it disturbing when an elder who was about 2 years older than me would take his daughter to the toilet from a very young age until I quit when she must have been about 7 years old.
WTF? Why wasnt the mother taking her? I just never could understand this stupid arrangement. It just creeped me out.

A famous Historian, Flavius Josephus, had written about the existence of Jesus, Jesus stated that man and women were created. That's good enough for me to still believe in Creation
Silly me, I thought that was satire.
Sitting on your smug laurels instead of doing open minded real research will lead you down these dead ends you know.

WT Article - David Versus Goliath—Did It Really Happen?
by ttdtt inhttps://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/watchtower-no5-2016-september/david-versus-goliath-real/.
the article ends with this:.
there is no real basis for doubting the truthfulness of this historical account.

What to say? I Don't want to go to meetings anymore?
by Drifting Away inso it has been a couple of months since me and my family have attended a meeting.
we have received a few calls and visits.
but what do you say when people ask "where have you been"?

I used to keep it short and blunt (in my usual style i guess) and then change the subject.
In the early days when fading it was "taking a break"
Later when I'd quit it was "I've quit"
A life skill worth learning though is that you are under no obligation to answer other peoples questions. As dubs we were programmed to be honest to the point of incriminating ourselves when asked questions by fellow believers especially those with perceived "authority" over us.
"not your business" throws them off guard.
or another way is to answer with a question of your own.
people often feel at pains to be able to give excuses for not doing something they dont want to do, there really is no need at all.

Introduction - Any Believers?
by Believer ini’ve been reading it for a few of years off and on, but have been a little too ... maybe ... timid to join.
i left the watchtower organization almost 20 years ago but never abandoned my faith and belief in god.
i knew the gb/organization didn’t represent god, so when i lost my faith in them, i managed to keep my faith in an all wise benevolent creator.

That is such a weak argument to use it smacks of desperation.
